Giant Baby!!! Did they find the baby or is it their baby? I don’t know yet but I think there’s a great story behind this. Like, they’ll need a herd of cows to feed it. How will they burp it? And that diaper… oh, maybe that’s best left unexplored…

21 day challenge! Yes, I’m finally joining the masses that were spurred on by Gina Perry. I’m lazy (isn’t it enough that I’m taking the challenge?), so I lifted the following text from Chickengirl’s site: I’m joining in with a bunch of illustrators who are doing a creative challenge that started with the talented illustrator Gina Perry. Here is what she had to say:
“During Laurie Halse Anderson’s keynote at the 2008 NESCBWI conference last weekend, she gave us a challenge. Think you don’t have time? She does. At least 15 minutes. Pick a time of day and mark it in your dayplanner or calender. She mentioned that it takes 21 days to form a new habit. Also, pick a buddy or two to help you stay focused and on track. I challenge all of you who read this to join me.”

To start out this challenge I actually did this hedgehog in about an hour – 15 minutes drawing it and scanning, 45 minutes coloring in PhotoShop. What will I do tomorrow? We’ll see. 20 more drawings to go!
